Mr. Waffle is one of the few places left you can walk into and immediately feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The food is consistent and the people are friendly. They do their best to make sure you don’t leave hungry! We’ve had the privilege of eating here a number of times over the years and it reminds me of simpler days when my dad used to take me to these little out of the way type places that were obviously from his era. Speaking of restaurants from yesteryear, the restaurant does have a smoking section. If you don’t smoke, sit on the other side of the restaurant. It’s really not that big of a deal. It comes with old school diners, and restaurants of this type, and I’m pretty sure there’s a sign as soon as you walk in. I’m not a smoker, but enjoy my experience enough that I’m always looking forward to my next visit! Oh, and I love how they take care of local firefighters! Thanks for the support and the great food! Billy jean was a fantastic server. she was respectful , attentive , and sweet.
Waffle was great. Service also excellent. Very friendly staff. Felt like visiting your aunts old country kitchen. Reason I can't give it 5 stars because they allow smoking in half the restaurant. If I had know that before visiting, we may have skipped it. Really can't stand smell of cigarettes while eating. Give it a try if you can.
